What is the aisle map — and do I have to use it?

No, you don't have to use it. The aisle map is an additional view, not a new shopping list — your list stays exactly where it was. If you don't need it, just ignore it.

You open it from an open list: tap a store's heading, the one with the small arrow next to it. It shows your shopping trip as a route through the store — from the entrance via the individual stops to the checkout, with the items per stop and a rough time estimate. You check things off there just like in the list, and at the end you get a short summary.

The route comes from what pon has already learned in this store: where your items came up on earlier trips determines the order of the stops. For areas where you need nothing today, pon falls back on what it saw from you there before — and if that is missing too, on the usual way through a typical supermarket.

If it says „still learning“ at the top, that is exactly what it means: pon has its own data for only a few areas of this store. The map still works, it is just guessed rather than learned. After a few trips the notice disappears by itself.
