Privacy policy for this website

Last updated: August 18, 2026

Summary

  • This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking
  • We embed nothing from third parties — no analytics services, no external fonts
  • Opening a page produces technically necessary connection data, nothing more
  • The pon app has a privacy policy of its own

What this policy covers

This privacy policy describes what happens when you open our website pon.app.

The pon app processes different data and therefore has its own privacy policy: Privacy policy for the app.

Responsible for the data processing on this website:

What happens when you open the website

When you open the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and information about your browser and operating system. The website cannot be delivered without this data; it also serves stability and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation). We ourselves keep no logs of website visitors.

Hosting

The website is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, EU Commission standard contractual clauses are in place.

No cookies, no tracking

The website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and no analytics services, and loads no third-party content – not even fonts. The start page reads your browser's language setting (Accept-Language) once, to forward you to the matching language version; this information is not stored.

Some pages link outwards — to the App Store, to the Alexa skill, or to PayPal if you would like to support pon.

As long as you do not click such a link, no data goes to those providers. Once you click it, that provider's privacy policy applies.

How long data is kept

We store no data from your visit ourselves. The technically necessary connection data arises solely at our hosting provider and is kept there only briefly, for operation and security.

If you write us an e-mail, we keep your message for as long as it takes to deal with it.

Your Rights as a Data Subject Under the GDPR
