What is the pantry, and how does pon know my stock?

The pantry is a smart estimate of what you probably still have at home — without you entering anything by hand. pon derives it from your purchases (when and how much you buy, plus estimated shelf life and consumption) and computes it all right on your device. We don't see any of it.

Because it's an estimate, the figures are rough at first and get more accurate with every purchase and every small correction. You'll find the pantry in an open list at the top via the title bar, or via the „⋯“ menu → „Pantry“. The more you use pon, the better it gets — and you never have to maintain an inventory list.
