How do I scan a barcode?

In an open list, press and hold the „+“ or the microphone at the bottom and choose „Scan barcode“ (or use the „⋯“ menu at the top right). Point the camera at the barcode — pon recognizes the product and adds it. You can name an unknown code yourself; after that pon will recognize it next time.

If you scan a product you already know under a different name, you can merge the two: give the scan the existing product's name in the name field — from two letters on, pon offers it as a chip. The barcode then ends up on the existing entry instead of a duplicate. It doesn't work the other way round: a barcode cannot be added afterwards to an item that is already on your list.
